It is my honour to serve on the School Board for Hobsonville Point Schools. Being involved with such forward-thinking people who really want the best for our rangatahi is a wonderful experience. 2024 is the tenth year I've been on the board and I’ve watched the schools grow from strength to strength. Our children are achieving some great successes and making their mark both here in New Zealand and around the world.

Our purpose as a Board is primarily focused on student success and developing strategic models to support the governance of the schools. Lucky to have diverse voices and experience, many warm and demanding conversations are had ensuring we keep moving forward.

A bit about me: I live in Hobsonville Point, my children attended both HPPS and HPSS which has launched them into the world in very different directions but both with some skills I wish I had gained at school. My eldest is currently at in her final year of her degree on exchange to the University of Wollongong in Australia, and my youngest has headed straight into full-time work.  I am a part of the HR team at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, leading the learning and development. I am also an elected member of NZSBA (New Zealand School Boards Association / Te Whakaroputanga Kaitiaki Kura o Aotearoa).
